What is SAPIC?

SAPIC is the accronym of "South American P&I Correspondents".

 

SAPIC was founded in 2001 as an association of the main P&I Club correspondents in the region. It has since transcended South America to include Central America.

 

The association seeks to promote fellowship and cooperation between member correspondents, with a view to exchanging information, providing support and promote similar high standards of service throughout the region.

 

Tio achieve its goals, members meet once a year in a different country. It is also the moment to accwpt and welcome new members, as well  as to strenghten friendships, all with a view to better colaborate together 5o benefit the Club and underwriers they serve collectively.
